Metal crusher bearing overheating how to do

Apr 14, 2021

Bearing is an important part of pulverizer, whose performance directly affects the normal operation and production efficiency of the equipment. During the operation of the equipment, users should pay special attention to the temperature rise of the bearing and the noise of the bearing parts, and deal with the abnormality as soon as possible.

(1) The uneven height of the two bearing pedestal, or the different centers of the motor rotor and the shredder rotor, will cause the bearing to be impacted by additional load, thus causing bearing overheating. In this case, it is necessary to stop the machine immediately to troubleshoot the problem in order to avoid early damage of the bearing.

(2) Too much, too little or aging of the lubricating oil in the bearing is also the main reason for bearing overheating and damage. Therefore, lubricating oil should be filled on time and quantitatively according to the requirements of the use book. Generally, lubrication accounts for 70%-80% of the bearing space. Bearings extend their service life.

(3) The bearing cover and the shaft are too tight, and the bearing and the shaft are too tight or too loose, which will cause the bearing to overheat. Once this problem occurs, in the operation of the equipment, there will be a sound of friction and obvious swing. The bearing should be stopped and removed. Trim the friction area and reassemble as required.
