Three-point maintenance method of metal crusher impeller

The impeller occupies a very important position in the composition of the metal crusher; if it fails, it will have a great impact on the normal operation of the equipment. If the impeller appears abnormal, it should be dealt with in time:


1. If the rivet head of the impeller is worn, the worn rivet head can be returned to the original normal state by pressing the impeller body and the hub with electric welding surfacing.


2. The metal crusher is prone to fatigue cracks at the rivet holes. The whole new electrode that has not been used can be used for welding to repair the cracks, but it should be carried out symmetrically with the axis of the impeller as the center, and the repair welding at the crack is left. The remaining electrode is left there, and a new electrode is used to repair the symmetrical rivet hole crack. After welding, the remaining electrode is as long as the remaining electrode when the symmetrical rivet is repaired, so as to ensure that the weight of the welding repair is equal.


If there is no crack at the symmetrical rivet hole, the electrode should also be surfacing here to offset the newly repaired welding weight at the symmetrical rivet hole crack. The crack can be repaired by welding according to this method of symmetrical supplementary weight.


3. The metal crusher performs a simple dynamic balance test on the impeller, and the method is also very simple. After supporting the impeller, turn it by hand to make it rotate gently. If the impeller cannot reach the balance, it will stop at a lower point and swing left and right.


If there is a heavy weight, you can spot weld on the opposite impeller, increase the weight to balance it, or use an angle grinder to grind off the welding marks of the heavy weight impeller, and the balance can also be achieved, so that the fan can be repaired and work normally.


Note that in the process of repairing the fan, electric welding cannot be used for random spot welding, and the welding marks are left on the impeller, so as not to affect the balance of the fan impeller, fail to achieve the purpose of repair, and cause greater losses.
